Created in the summer of 2020, host Daylan Flowers has now conducted over 100 episodes with people all over the world. A college student, Daylan has completed four full seasons of his self proclaimed show. Aimed at having guests on and sharing their stories. People from all walks of life and sports have graced the screen with Daylan, as he continues to share as many words of wisdom possible. Tyler Fountain: Growing up in Little Rock, JUCO, and working in sports media
Sports reporter Tyler Fountain joined me on the show this week!
A native of Little Rock, Arkansas Fountain grew up being an athlete playing a variety of different sports, but finding a passion within football.
Imbedded highly from the impact of his family and the love of sports, Fountain would play football at the college level at multiple places. Starting his career at Arkansas State University, he would then move to Butte College, and finish his collegiate career at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
During his time at Butte College in California, Fountain grasped the aspect of what makes JUCO football so different and was gracious enough to share his experience within that life.
Getting involved within the sports media world during a difficult time, the COVID-19 pandemic proved many battles for an aspiring worker in the sports media world, but Fountain's persistence and dedication opened doors for his career.
Working with the Texas Ranger, Utah Jazz, and now covering all sports in Oklahoma, Fountain's path has been nothing short of hard work.
This is what he left me with, "always be grateful, understand that you're living in a prayer, you're living in a time you once prayed for"
