Dr. Tiffany Coleman-McGee joined me on the show this week! A native of Jackson, Mississippi, and truly in love with her hometown, she still resides in Jackson, continuing a lasting impact in the place that shaped her into the woman she is today. A devoted family woman, a mother of three children, Tiffany talks deeply about her relationship with her parents and grandparents.

Tiffany attended Tougaloo College, due to her mother’s past enrollment at the school. Her mother didn’t finish her degree at the time, however, and returned to college with Tiffany. They graduated together and Tiffany would later earn her graduate degree at the University of Southern Mississippi. A faithful and openly loving child of God, Tiffany spoke very highly about her faith and true power that she felt from God no matter what stage that her life was in.

Although she is an award winning music artist today, this vision was truly never thought of at the start of her music journey. Tiffany’s intention is to bring people closer to God, help them heal, and bring restoration to lives, and she is beyond grateful by how her love for music has changed her life and others. A published author as well, Tiffany has written two children's books and a manifestation book, reflecting both her love of reading from a young age as well as her desire to do everything in her power to improve children’s literacy. Something else that's vital to her life is her true love for community service and helping those around her. In 2023, she was rewarded for that work by President Joe Biden’s foundation, as she and her mother were awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Lifetime Achievement Award.

Successfully fulfilling her love for acting as well, Tiffany is currently working on an independent film. Her acting career has ranged from Empire, NCIS New Orleans, and Queen Sugar.

A known piece of life advice, but sometimes is forgotten, this is what Tiffanny shared. “Take it day by day, one step at a time, don’t be hard on yourself.  Give yourself some grace. We forgive others, so forgive yourself.”

I truly enjoyed every moment of this episode! So much wisdom, laughter, and pure honesty was poured out by Mrs. Tiffany, and I cannot thank her enough for joining me! Please enjoy the episode, leave a like and a comment, and don’t forget to get some show merchandise! Halfway through season four! God bless everyone!
